BREAKING: Another Market At Funtua In Katsina Gutted By Fire

A section of another market at Funtua, the commercial nerve of Katsina State is reported to have been gutted by fire in the early hours of Friday, destroying properties worth millions of Naira.

This is happening barely two weeks after the Katsina Central Market was burnt to the ground by a yet to be investigated fire incident, destroying shops and properties also worth millions.

As at the time of filing this report, the exact cause of the fire outbreak was yet to be ascertained.

Funtua LGA is the headquarters of Katsina South senatorial district popularly referred to as Karaduwa Zone and it is the second most populated local government in Katsina State.
