Glamtush reports that Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky has gone spiritual following bribery allegations made against him by social media activist, VeryDarkMan.
This online news platform recalls that in a recent audio recording released by VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky allegedly claimed that certain unidentified operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) accepted N15 million from him to dismiss his money laundering charges.
In response to the viral audio, the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, issued a statement on Tuesday saying that the Commission’s Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, had ordered an immediate investigation into the allegations.
Taking to his Instagram page, Bobrisky shared Bible verses to express his trust in God’s protection and strength during difficult times.
He wrote, “2 Thessalonians 3:3 – But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. Psalm 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Deuteronomy 31:6 – Be strong and courageous.”
Recalls that Bobrisky previously denied VeryDarkMan’s accusations, stating that he never bribed any EFCC official to avoid the charges and that he had fully served his sentence.
