As of now, you can purchase 1 dollar at a certain rate; however, it’s important to remember that the rate can shift (either upwards or downwards) within hours.
According to Bureau De Change (BDC) sources, the exchange rate for a dollar to naira at the Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) players bought a dollar for N1550 and sold it for N1560 on Saturday, December 7th, 2024.
Please note that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market (black market), as it has directed individuals who want to engage in Forex to approach their respective banks.
