The local currency opened at N565.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market, today, Tuesday, 30 November 2021, in Lagos Nigeria after it closed N558.00 per $1 on Monday, 29 November 2021.

 

Even though the dollar to naira opened in the parallel market at ₦565 per $1 today, Glamtushreports that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognise the parallel market, otherwise known as the black market. The apex bank has therefore directed anyone who requires forex to approach their bank, insisting that the I&E window is the only known exchange.

 

Glamtushreports that at the black market, the players buy a dollar for N560 and sell for N565 on Tuesday morning, November 30, 2021, after they bought N552 and sold for N558on Monday morning, November 29, 2021.

 

Meanwhile, Glamtush reports that the USD started this week at ₦558 in Parallel Market also known as Black Market on Monday, November 29, 2021, in Lagos Nigeria, after it opened at ₦564 last week Monday, November 22, 2021.
