The Chairman of Udala Football Club, Chief Philip Udala, has been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen.
According to reports, the incident happened on Tuesday at Eke-Agu Market junction in Abatete, Idemili North Local Area when his convoy ran into a team of armed gunmen.
He was set ablaze after bullets fired at him failed to penetrate. Members of his convoy were also killed and their vehicles burnt.
