BBNaija: Why I ‘Snatched’ Groovy From Amaka – Phyna

Phyna has revealed why she ‘snatched’ Groovy from Amaka.

Glamtush reports that the winner of Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) season 7 ‘Level Up’ edition, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor popularly known as Phyna, has given reason why she ‘snatched’ Groovy from her supposed friend Amaka.

According to the BBNaija S7 winner, she liked Groovy before Amaka indicated an interest in him.

This online newspaper understands that the 25-year-old Edo-born reality star made this known during a recent interview with Show Host Ebuka Uchendu, where she clarified the allegations that she snatched fellow housemate Groovy from her bestie, Amaka.

This online platform recalls that Amaka who was closest to Phyna earlier in the show had opened up about her feelings for Groovy, asking Phyna to speak to Groovy on her behalf.

However, in a twist of events, Phyna rather than speak to Groovy about her friend’s feelings, revealed her own feelings, which led the friendship to hit the wall. Angered by Phyna’s action, Amaka accused her of betrayal.

Addressing the issue, Phyna clarified that she liked Groovy and Amaka was aware.

She also added that she noticed he preferred her as well, as he would rather sit on her bed whenever he visited their room.

She said, “She told me she liked Groovy and I should talk to Groovy and I did but I noticed anytime Groovy comes to the room he sits on my bed and since the beginning of the show, I told Groovy I liked him and Amaka was aware but maybe it seems like a vibe so when he told me to be his girlfriend and I was like okay so the whole thing just happened and I was trying to avoid it.”
