Bandits Should Be Killed – Aisha Yesufu Replies Gumi

Aisha Yesufu has reacted to Sheikh Gumi’s remark warning the government not to kill bandits.

Glamtush reports that popular activist, Aisha Yesufu has berated Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, an Islamic cleric, for supporting bandits terrorising, kidnapping and killing Nigerians.

Yesufu who is also a co-convener of BringBackOurGirls, BBOG, said security agents should ignore Gumi and go after the bandits.

Reacting to the remark by Gumi on her Twitter handle, the activist said security agents should kill the bandits.

Gumi had urged the government to protect schools by negotiating with bandits.

However, the activist said the killings by bandits was enough justification for their annihilation.

She wrote, “Bandits should be killed! They have killed and inflicted terror on the land. God said we should never be transgressors but we should not run or turn our backs on those who transgress against us. So the security agents must go after bandits/terrorists and annihilate them.”
