Glamtush reports that Black Professionals In International Affairs (BPIA) has announced its advisory council members.
Among those announced as advisory council members is Nigeria’s Bakare Mubarak.
Excited by the announcement Mubarak wrote, “Honored to be the Youngest ever appointed member of the Black Professionals in International Affairs advisory council. @IABPIA
“Yet another Clarion call & a time to build legacy.
“The noble council consists of leaders that have displayed a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility efforts in increasing the involvement of Continental Africans (Africans at home) and African-Americans (African Diaspora) and those of the African diaspora in international affairs…”
The press release titled “BPIA 2023 Announces 2023 Advisory Council Members” read, ” It is with great pleasure that BPIA announces the members of the 2023 Council of Advisors. The Council consists of leaders in the international affairs field that have displayed a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility efforts in increasing the involvement of African-Americans and those of the African diaspora in international affairs. The Council represents leaders with a record of high-impact work, particularly in areas relating to policy, social, financial, and political impact.”
