Auditions For BBNaija Season 5 Begins

 

Fans of the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) are in for another season of mind-blowing onscreen drama as Multi Choice has kicked off auditions for the show’s 5th season.

While a launch date is yet to be confirmed, the upcoming show is expected to ride on the success of previous highly successful editions. However, will the audition which usually attracts mammoth crowd hold as usual especially amid the coronavirus pandemic and considering social distancing restriction?

According to the organizers, “Auditions for this season’s Big Brother Naija will hold completely online, and there will be no need or provision for physical gatherings. Auditions opened on Wednesday, May 20 and close Saturday, May 30. The online audition is free and open. Individual data charges will however apply.”

Who can audition for BBNaija season 5? “Interested male and female participants who are of Nigerian nationality with a valid Nigerian passport and must be 21 years of age by June 1, 2020.”

“The final housemates will be selected after entries received is screened for eligibility and suitability following which successful applications will be further screened. The final shortlist will be selected with one-on-one screenings where our standard psych evaluations and interviews will be organized in a controlled and sanitized environment where social distancing will be observed.”

BBNaija season 5 will premiere in July. However, more information about this will be communicated in the coming weeks.
