Primate Ayodele’s warnings has been fulfilled as students blocked Lagos-Ibadan Expressway over ASUU strike.
Glamtush reports that commuters plying the ever-busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway had a hectic time on Tuesday when university students blocked the inbound and outbound sections of the expressway in protest over the seven-month-old strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The protest brought vehicular movement on the ever-busy expressway to a halt, leaving passengers stranded.
Some were forced to take barely motorable alternative routes to avoid the protesters, while others drove against the traffic in order to beat the traffic jam the protest caused.
This is coming some weeks after popular prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele warned the Federal Government to immediately work on the ASUU strike otherwise, students will stage ‘something serious’.
This warning and advise to the federal government was shared across several credible news outlets in the country.
These were the prophet’s words, “Students will soon stage something serious if Buhari fails to resolve the ongoing ASUU strike.” (https://dailypost.ng/2022/08/01/asuu-students-will-stage-something-tinubus-ambition-will-start-breaking-apc-primate-ayodele/)
It would also be recalled that Primate Ayodele had revealed that ASUU will go on strike this year during the release of his 2022 prophecies in December 2021.
