Apple Inc has recalled its recently introduced smart phone called iPhone 6 Plus over faulty back-mounted camera.
According to the company the phones affected were mainly sold between the September 2014 release date and January 2015. And affected customers are to return the phones as they would be fixed for free by Apple.
“Apple has determined that, in a small percentage of iPhone 6 Plus devices, the iSight camera has a component that may fail causing your photos to look blurry.”
Customers who had already purchased the devices should check Apple’s complaint link (https://www.apple.com/support/iphone6plus-isightcamera/) to see whether their device is eligible for a fix.
Eligible customers will have their phones repaired for free by taking it into an Apple store or by contacting technical support team.
According to Apple, the next version of iPhone expected to be called the iPhone 6S is due to be announced in just over two weeks’ time.
