Muskan Bamne who played the role of Pakhi has quit Anupamaa show after three years. And it seems the producers have found their new Pakhi already.
The 24-year-old actress took this decision after she was asked to play the role of a mother. However, she wasn’t ready for it.
So, Chandhini Bhagwanani will now replace Muskan as Anupamaa takes a leap of 5 years.
She added, “I just want to explore a lot more. Also, it usually happens that if you agree to do a role like this (of a mother), the possibility of getting similar characters later in your career increases. So I did not want to take the risk.”
Chandni Bhagwanani will now enter Anupamaa as the new Pakhi on the show produced by Rajan Shahi. Pakhi is the daughter of Anupama and Vanraj, played by Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey respectively.
The actress has previously worked in the Telugu film Ratham. She has also been a part of many TV shows like Amita Ka Amit, Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop, Sanjivani, Sindoor Ki Keemat and others. She was also seen in Imlie as Pallavi Thakur.
She made her debut with Kohi Apna Sa. She later replaced Hansika Motwani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
The 5 years leap will show that Anupamaa and Anuj, that is Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna, have gone their separate ways in the show now. Anuj accused Anupamaa of being a bad mother. Anu, who couldn’t take it left the house and moved abroad. That’s how Anupamaa’s dream of going to America was realized. Anuj is also in the USA, working on his business.
