AMCON Executive Director, Dr. Uneze Conferred With ‘Uzo-Dike’ Title

Executive Director, Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), Dr. Eberechukwu Uneze, was on December 29, 2018 conferred with the chieftaincy title of Uzo-Dike (the path for the brave) of Umunya by His Royal Highness, Igwe Kris Onyekwuluje (the Eze Nya 1), the traditional ruler of Umunya in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State. 

The event, which was attended by the top echelon of Anambra and Imo States sons and daughters, including the Obi of Onitsha, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe and the Anambra State governor, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano also marked the 21^st anniversary Coronation of the Eze Nya 1 as well as the annual Ofala Festival. The conferment was in recognition of Dr. Uneze’s noteworthy contribution to the community where his wife hails from. By the conferment, the AMCON Executive Director in charge of Asset Management in the government agency has been elevated to a full-fledged member of the prestigious Umunya Igwe-in-Council. His wife, Mrs. Ijeoma Uneze, was also honoured alongside Dr. Uneze with the title of Nmadiche (a special kind of beauty) of Umunya. 

The Executive Director in charge of Operations at AMCON, Mr. Aminu Ismail led a team of AMCON staff who went to show their love and support for Dr. Uneze as he received his new title.
