Glamtush reports that Akmodel Group MD, Builder (Dr.) Abdulhakeem Odegade has lent his voice to the clamouring for a nationwide protest come August 1st – 10th.
Bldr. Odegade who spoke with our correspondent in his office calls on everyone to be cautious and let peace prevail.
In his words, he said, “The government acknowledges the current difficult situation that we Nigerians are going through, however, protesting is not the best means to sort things out. Protests will do more damage to the country and may lead to uncontrollable bankruptcy to different set of organizations, disruption of businesses both local and international ones, destruction of goods/properties and harming each other, this will only destabilize the economy the more.
“I understand the relevance of exercising our freedom of expression but I urge everyone of us with the mind and aim of protesting to please maintain peace and express any interest with a manner of law and ethics,” he added.
Recall that Akmodel Group consist of Akmodel Homes and Properties, Akmodel Builders Construction, Akmodel Farm investment.
They also have landed properties in Lagos, Uyo, Ibadan, Awka, Abeokuta, Ilorin, Enugu, Ghana etc, Cote d’Ivoire and United kingdom loading.
