AGN Chairman Don Pedro Aganbi Bags Entertainment Personality Of The Year Award

Chairman, Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Lagos Chapter, Don Pedro Aganbi, has won the 2017 Entertainment personality of the year award at the Nigeria Achievers Award. An award ceremony put together to recognize individuals who has made a mark in their fields of endeavors.

According to the organisers, the award is in recognition of Don Pedro Aganbi’s outstanding contributions to the development of the Nigerian Entertainment Industry. “Since his election into office as chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria in Lagos, Don Pedro Aganbi has practically woken up the Industry with his innovative style of leadership, projects and human capital development.  What more, his doggedness and determination to share and re-brand the Guild under his watch is quite commendable,” the organisers stated.

Receiving the award, the charismatic and hardworking AGN Lagos chairman said “I am completely humbled by this award because it means so much to me and it also means more work.  Of course we still have a long way to go because we haven’t gotten to the el-dorado just yet. I am thankful that my modest contribution is being recognized and I dedicate this award to the excos and entire membership of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Lagos chapter for their support and unalloyed loyalty. This recognition would not have been possible without their belief in me,” he noted.

The annual Nigeria Achievers Award which held at the prestigious Beskope event center in Lekki had in attendance politicians, musicians, Nollywood actors, business mogul, diplomatic community,  state and National Assembly members beauty queens among others.
