AFCON Qualifiers: Dele-Bashiru Breaks Stubborn Libyan Defence To Earn Win For Nigeria

Dele-Bashiru broke the stubborn Libyan defence to earn a win for Nigeria in the AFCON qualifiers.

 

Glamtush reports that Nigerian midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru came from the bench to earn Nigeria a 1-0 win in the 86th minute over Libya in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Uyo after the Mediterranean Knights spent most of the game in their half defending.

With this win, the Super Eagles are at the top of Group D with 7 points ahead of Benin Republic (6), Rwanda (2) and Libya (1).

The Eagles will travel to face the Mediterranean Knights in three days in Libya.
