Glamtush reports that Victor Osimhen has matched the iconic Segun Odegbami in Nigeria’s all-time goalscoring chart.
The milestone was reached after Osimhen scored in the Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw against Benin Republic during a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier held on Thursday night.
Osimhen came into the match in third place with 22 goals.
But the 26-year-old, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, headed in the equalizer in the 81st minute in Abidjan.
