Adesina Oluwasegun, has won the maiden edition of the Master Baker competition, an initiative of Acabado Perfecto Nig. Ltd.
The annual competition is meant to bring upcoming bakers to limelight, as well as create awareness on how to be self-employed thereby increasing opportunity for locally made products, and reduce total dependency on the provisions of job from the government in the baking and confectionery world.
The competition commenced by interested participants posting their works on the official website of Acabado Perfecto Nig. Ltd. However, 15 contestants made it to the final stage and that gave them the opportunity to showcase their creativity. The two-day event held at Time Square Event Centre, Ikeja.
Adesina was announced winner of the competition based on votes and his creative work. And as the winner, he walked away with N200, 000.

The judges for the competition were Ndirika Udoye (Bakers Option), Oke Seun (Da Cake Master) and Kema Opeyemi Abuede (Conspicuous Cake).
The initiator of the programme, Engr. Mrs Edith Ozumba says the event will always be held every year at the same time.
Also, the Acabado Perfecto Group used the medium to launch some of its products, which includes cake syrup, food colours and ready-made fondante bread and icing sugar.
