Many are feared dead as an explosion rocks Kano.
Glamtush reports that a bomb has been detonated on Aba road in Sabon Gari road, Kano leaving scores, including school children dead and several others injured.
According to Nafiu Nuhu, president of Sabon Gari Market, the bomb explosion affected schoolchildren in the area, according to BBC.
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report but it was gathered that the explosion occurred at about 9 am, near a primary school along Court Road by Aba Road, with many children affected.
It was not clear whether it was a case of a bomb blast or a result of a gas explosion.
Other sources claimed the explosion was a suicide bomber attack.
Meanwhile, the police anti-bomb unit and several security units have moved to scene of the incident.
