Veteran actor, Obi Madubuogwu, popularly known as ‘King of Musanga’ for his role in the blockbuster, Battle of Musanga is dead. He died this evening after years of battling acute diabetes.
According to Goldenpearlmedia, Madubuogwu was already recovering and was planning for a new movie shoot before this happened.
According to actor and his close colleagues, Chigozie Atuanya:
“This is not funny at all. He was preparing to shoot a movie. He was already doing well. Then suddenly, he collapsed and that was it. This is so sad.“
Late Madubuogwu has featured in many films over the years. This is indeed another great loss for Nollywood.
