Oxygen X Finance Company has taken its “Right Where You Are” campaign to CMS and Obalende markets in Lagos, engaging traders, small business owners, and other Nigerians where they work and do business.
The activation enabled the Oxygen X team to speak directly with traders about access to credit and the practical financial needs of running a business, including restocking, managing cash flow and pursuing new opportunities.
The campaign reflects a simple belief: credit should be within reach of the people who need it.
“We need to close the gap in access to formal credit,” said Emmanuella Awogu, Brand Manager, Oxygen X. “The neighbourhood shop owner, the amala seller and the market trader may not have the paperwork, banking history or access that can make borrowing from a conventional lender straightforward. Yet they run viable businesses, serve customers, and contribute to the economy every day.
“Our role is to make credit more accessible. Through our digital channels and agent network, we are bringing loans closer to customers, so they do not have to leave their businesses or endure long waits to access financing. We want people to know that when they need credit, Oxygen X is right where they are.”
Backed by Access Holdings, Oxygen X offers personal, Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME), business and working capital loans to individuals and businesses. Customers can apply through the Oxygen X mobile app or website, while the company’s expanding agent network brings access into more communities and markets.
Oxygen X is also widening access to Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) financing through OxygenNow, which allows customers to purchase products and spread payments over time. Its growing network of BNPL partners includes Thermocool, Orca Mall, Konga, Redington and Izifin Technologies.
The CMS and Obalende activation forms part of Oxygen X’s broader “Right Where You Are” campaign, which brings credit closer to everyday Nigerians through direct engagement in the communities and markets where they live, work, trade and earn.
Whether it is a trader seeking funds to restock, a small business owner managing working capital, or an individual applying for a personal loan, Oxygen X is taking its message beyond digital platforms and into the places where customers conduct their daily lives.
