The NFF has appointed Eguavoen as the Interim Super Falcons coach.
Glamtush reports that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Augustine Eguavoen and his technical team as preparations get underway for October’s Olympic qualifiers.
Other members of the technical team include Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma and former Super Falcons defender, Ayisat Yusuf as interim assistant coaches, and Olatunji Baruwa as interim goal keeper trainer.
So, Nigeria’s Super Falcons will begin their 2028 Los Angeles Olympic qualifying campaign against Comoros in October 2026 under newly appointed interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen.
The Falcon will face the Comoros women’s national team on October 9 and October 13, at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State.
