Ahead of the clash, Portable expressed confidence, saying, “I’m warning Efe not to risk his life going into the ring with me because I will not show him any mercy… I won’t show him any mercy on Friday because I want to use him to collect my third belt.”
Carter Efe responded with equal intensity, insisting, “You can’t beat me. You are scared of me — when we meet in the ring, I will beat you. One punch and you fall… the ring will be the final judge.”
