Telemundo’s newest telenovela titled, Thirst for Revenge (Sed De Veganza) premieres on Telemundo Africa on Monday, October 20.
Sed de venganza is an American television series that aired on Telemundo from October 15, 2024, to March 6, 2025. It is based on the 2007 Colombian telenovela Pura sangre, created by Mauricio Navas, Conchita Ruiz, and Tania Cárdenas.
Thirst for Revenge is a captivating tale of revenge, love, betrayal, and deception. The new series replaces Cacau, which ends on Saturday, October 18. New episodes premiere every night at 9 PM CAT until the season finale on Monday, January 19, 2026.
The show follows the life of Fernanda Ríos (Castillo), a beautiful, smart, and resourceful woman determined to escape the horrific abuse she experienced during her childhood. Just when she believes she has escaped her traumatic past, a web of deceit and blackmail pulls her into the dangerous world of Eugenio Beltrán (Olivera), a spiteful and ruthless businessman with a vendetta against the Del Pino family, undermining its members in order to take over their company and their wealth. Trained to carry out his dark plans, Fernanda’s life becomes more complicated when she falls for Francisco (Carrera), the man whose life she ruined in the past.
Francisco really returned to seek revenge, now under the identity of Emilio Montenegro. However, Fernanda is unaware of his true identity and his arrival awakens in her an unexpected passion that complicates her plans for revenge.
Set and filmed in Miami, Thirst for Revenge is written by Eric Vonn and directed by Camilo Vega, Miguel Varoni, and Uandari Gómez. The series is produced by Ximena Cantuarias and Rafael Uriostegui.
The star-studded cast is led by Danilo Carrera (Dangerous Affairs), Isabella Castillo (Lord of the Skies, Malverde: The Patron Saint), and Alexa Martin (False Identity, La Doña), with features from renowned actors Saul Lisazo, Diego Olivera, Carlos Torres, and Sebastián Carvajal. The stellar cast is rounded out by Roberto Romano, María José Camacho, Rodolfo Salas, Fefi Oliveira, Javier Ponce, Sandra Itzel, María Laura Quintero, Humberto Búa, Roberta Burns, Claudia Coria, Daniela Martínez, and María Eugenia Arboleda.
