Labour leaders have chased out FIRS Staff with cane and shut down the Lagos office over the ongoing nationwide strike.
Glamtush reports that members of the labour union on Monday shut down the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) in Lagos, while enforcing the nationwide strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) over the minimum wage proposal.
This online news platform reports that the NLC and TUC commenced a nationwide industrial action today, Monday, June 3, in protest against the N60,000 minimum wage proposal of the Federal Government.
In the photos which emerged online, members of the labour union were captured with canes chasing FIRS staff out of the Agidingbi, Ikeja, office.
