1. President Bola Tinubu has directed the National Economic Council to come up with inputs on palliatives and the minimum wage review as part of measures to cushion the pain of subsidy removal. Speaking during a meeting with members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Tinubu directed NEC led by Vice President Kashim Shettima to mobilise various interventions to cushion the hardship faced by Nigerians.
2. The Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, tendered in evidence on Wednesday the final results for the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory. Dan-Asabe was dragged before the court by the police following a complaint from the school’s management that his activities were disrupting pupils with loud music while they were having classes.
