7 Natural Makeup Removers For Beautiful Skin

No doubt makeup gives a glam and fabulous look especially when we are attending special events. But at the same time, makeup can also damage our skin when we neglect to remove it after that event or party probably due to tiredness before retiring to bed. However, this little mistake can be the cause of our beauty woes in the long run.

Properly removing your makeup at the end of the day is an important step to any healthy skincare routine. This will keep your skin free of acne, fine lines, wrinkle as well as irritation.

That’s the reason you need a makeup remover or cleanser that can help you clean your face without too much stress. Although, there are loads of makeup removing products sold in shops, but, it will be better if you make use of everyday ingredients from your kitchen to do the job and that too without having to worry about side effects especially if you have sensitive skin.

Here some easy and quick natural ways to help remove your makeup without stress as well as pamper your skin at the same time.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil can also be used to remove any type of makeup even waterproof makeup. Drop enough quantity of coconut oil on a cotton ball or cotton pads and gently wipe off makeup. You can also take a small amount into your palms and gently rub it into your face. However, wash your face with warm water and dab face with a towel. The oil will also make your skin softer.

Aloe vera

Use aloe vera to remove makeup by mixing the gel with a little amount of water. This will also moisten your skin. But if you have sensitive skin, it is advisable to add olive oil to the aloe vera gel before using it.

Honey

You can also use original honey as a cleanser. Pour a small amount of original honey on your palms and apply it on your face. After about 5 minutes, soak a towel in hot water, squeeze out water and wipe your face thoroughly with it.

Milk

Milk is an excellent cleanser. It is equally amazing for our skin. To remove eye makeup, gently wipe your eyes with a cotton pad dipped in liquid milk, and then rinse your face clean.

Cucumber Juice

Take one medium size cucumber and blend it into a paste. Then add a little amount of any carrier oil of your choice such as olive or coconut oil and your cleanser is ready. Apply to remove makeup. It is an excellent makeup remover, particularly for oily skin. Then, rinse face with lukewarm water.

Baking soda and honey

The combination of baking soda and honey combination does not only work as an excellent cleanser but also as an exfoliator. Just put original honey on a soft clean cloth and sprinkle in some baking soda. Then rub it gently on your face to remove makeup and complete the process by rinsing your face with lukewarm water.

Note that baking soda is different from baking powder.

Yogurt

Just rub plain yogurt all over your face with your fingers or a cotton pad. The makeup will simply slide away. Then rinse face with water.
