President Muhammad Buhari is expected to address the nation on Friday, October 1, by 7 am.
This was contained in a statement on Thursday, by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina.
Adesina said it was part of activities to mark the 61st anniversary celebration of Nigeria’s nationhood.
“As part of activities marking the 61st Independence Anniversary of the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 7am”, he said.
The Presidential Spokesperson added that “all television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), respectively, for the address”.
