6 Things Every Stylish Woman Needs In Her Gym Bag

Needless to say, working out is healthy, and it’s a good thing to have your own gym bag with all the essentials in it. But, what are the essentials for working out? Well, if you consider yourself to be stylish, there are certain style-related things your gym bag should contain – and here are six of them.

Deodorant

One of the biggest fears of every stylish lady is going home for a shower right after the gym and running into a friend or colleague. The situation could be even worse if you need to use the public transport. This is why you should always keep a deodorant in your gym bag, and make sure to use it. This way, you’ll be able to chat in peace knowing that your friend might be able to see that you’ve been working out, but they won’t be able to smell it – and you must agree that’s much less embarrassing.

Water bottle

Drinking plenty of water is essential if you want to get in shape. However, it’s also one of those things that are easily forgotten. So, keep your water bottle in your gym bag, and don’t forget to actually use it. If you’re forgetful, there are also many phone apps that can remind you when you should take a sip, which might be a good idea if you use your phone while exercising. Moreover, to make the whole habit more appealing, get yourself an interesting water bottle that you’d actually enjoy using.

Hair bands or headbands

If you’re a lady with long hair, you’re probably familiar with all the struggles that come with it. Sure, every woman loves her hair, but it can sometimes be hard to tame. This is why it’s essential to have either hair bands or headbands with you at all times. They will keep stray hairs from falling into your face, and you will look more stylish with a lean ponytail than with sweaty and messy hair. Plus, they don’t really take that much room, so you can easily carry more than one.

Suitable clothes

You can’t really work out without suitable clothes, so make sure to have a comfortable sports bra and a breathable shirt. You should also have a long-sleeve shirt, because you won’t always have an opportunity to change your clothes, and it might come in handy. Moreover, the weather can sometimes be surprising, so it doesn’t hurt to have something a bit warmer at hand. Next, you should have a pair of quality women’s exercise tights, and pack a few extra socks as well. You never know when you might need them, so it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Cosmetics

You always want to have emergency makeup with you in case you have some important appointment after the gym. A simple eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss can be more than enough to make you look presentable. You should also carry a bottle of dry shampoo, in case you don’t have the time to wash and dry your hair. Moreover, if you prefer to exercise outside, a good sunscreen is a must. There’s nothing stylish about sunburns, so don’t forget to protect yourself from the sun. Finally, hygiene is extremely important, and you know how many people touch the gym equipment every day. With that in mind, make sure to always have a pack of wet wipes or some liquid hand sanitizer.

Workout snacks

Some people prefer to work out on an empty stomach, but there are also many that don’t. Either way, most people need to grab a snack after exercising, which is why you should always have a couple of protein bars in your gym bag, or some light, home-made snack. Moreover, such snacks can also be a lifesaver in case something comes up unexpectedly and you don’t have the time to grab a real meal.

Sometimes, all you need is a pair of comfortable shoes and a bit of motivation in order to work out. However, being equipped with everything you might need will make your workouts not just more fun but also more efficient. So, pack some suitable clothes and snacks, and don’t forget your water bottle. Always have enough makeup to help you transition from your gym look to your normal one, and make sure to have a good deodorant at hand. Keep your long hair under control, and continue working out in style.
