30 Things To Do When You Are Bored

There are some days in our lives when we just feel bored. Has it ever happened to you? All you do is just sit down without having an idea of how you are going to spend your day.

When you feel bored, here are a few suggested things you can do to get out of boredom and make you day fun and interesting.

  1. Take your time to do your laundry.
  2. Do some meditation to help you have a little peace within.
  3. Hit the gym and complete a workout session. This really beats being bored any day.
  4. Organise your space or house – clean out the kitchen cupboard you have always postponed, organise your room and closet.
  5. Watch some movies especially the ones you have been meaning to watch. However, if you feel going to watch a movie in the cinema will make your day, then, do that.
  6. Read the Bible or Quran.
  7. Listen to your favourite songs.
  8. If you’re the gaming type, then play video games.
  9. Call a friend (s) you haven’t talked to in a while and see what they have been up to.
  10. Enjoy a day at the spa – Take time to do your manicure, pedicure, facials, body massage and a whole lot more.
  11. Learn/ try out a new recipe.
  12. Go through your old photos, family photos or even photos on your phone
  13. Take a nap, it will make you will feel refreshed.
  14. Go to the salon and give yourself a makeover with a new hairstyle
  15. Sweep and clean the whole house with music at the background.
  16. Read a book you have abandoned for days, weeks or months and make yourself finish it on the same day, the day will be over before you know it.
  17. Read a magazine
  18. Write a bucket list
  19. Go shopping for something you have been meaning to buy.
  20. Go do some charity work
  21. Take a walk around your neighbourhood.
  22. Plan your dream vacation
  23. Clean your makeup brushes
  24. Go and sit outside for fresh air
  25. Do DIY’s
  26. Take selfies
  27. If you can swim, go swimming.
  28. Paint your nails
  29. Visit a blog
  30. Make a vision board
