Telemundo will be debuting three new novelas in January 2020 to thrill their African viewers after a long time of being quiet on new shows.
The three new novelas are Almost Yours, Close Enemies and El Baron. These shows will premiere on Telemundo channels on DStv and GOtv respectively.
Almost Yours which premieres on Monday, January 6 at 20h00 tells the story Antonnnnio Solano, played by Jorge Salinas.
Antonio grew up in a poor, working class family and became a self-made successful and wealthy man. He’s married, has three children and wants to make sure they don’t have the same life he had growing up, so he gives them everything, which turns out to be a big problem.
His children are ratty, over-indulged spoilt brats and his wife has had so much surgery you could recycle her plastic face. And he has a sister and mother-in-law clawing at his wealth.
Suddenly, on his birthday, he has a Moment of Clarity when everyone forgets that it’s His birthday. They just want him to provide for them without giving back.
He does a radical overhaul and insists that everyone starts earning their own money.
And then he meets Julieta played by Marjorie De Sousa. Will they get together? Did she change him? What happens next? Watch to find out!
The series debuts on Monday, 13 January at 23h00.
The series stars Raúl Méndez and Fernanda Castillo as Alejandro and Roxana, both of whom starred together in Telemundo’s Lord of the Skies.
Close Enemies debuts on Monday, 20 January at 22h00.
