Ten more abducted Bethel Baptist students in Kaduna have been released with 21 others still being held by bandits.
The Bethel Baptist School students regained their freedom on Saturday, after spending about 75 days in the custody of their abductors.
The Vice President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) (19 Northern States and Abuja) and chairman of CAN in Kaduna State, Rev. John Joseph Hayab, confirmed the news.
He said, “10 students were released this (Saturday) evening and have reunited with their parents. We are now hoping that the remaining 21 who are still with the bandits will be released.”
Recall that they were kidnapped on July 5 when a group of armed men invaded the school in Chikun Local Government Area of the state.
