2023 Elections: People Were Brought Up With Generational Hatred – Aisha Yesufu

A social critic and human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, has added her voice in lamenting the rate of tribal sentiments employed by politicians in the 2023 general elections.

Yesufu gave her expression in a post via her verified Twitter handle on Sunday.

Recall that some persons in Lagos, especially Igbo, were obstructed from voting during the just concluded Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections by political thugs working for politicians.

She lamented that some people were brought up with generational hatred, insisting Nigerians should sit together to address the development.

She tweeted, “It is not just politicians. People were brought up with generational hatred and until we sit down and .address it, we will continue to have it reoccurring. It doesn’t come up only during politics.”
