2018 Glamour Role Model Awards Holds Dec 15

The 2018 edition of the Glamour Role Model Awards (GRMA) is set to hold on Saturday, December 15 at The Niteshift Coliseum, Lagos.

The ”Glamour” is one of the title projects of Dreamscape Production, a ground breaking initiative that is birthed to specifically recognize and celebrate the Nigerian modelling industry and worthy role models in entertainment, entrepreneurship as well as public office holders.

The brand appreciates, recognises and celebrates the modelling and fashion practitioners within the industry. Such practitioners include agencies, models, fashion designers and their supporters.

Glamour has produced two editions in the past. The first edition tagged, “Glamour Night with Nigerian Models” held in 2012 while the 2nd edition titled, Glamour Night out” (The Fashion Party) held in 2014.

According to the producer of Glamour Role Model Awards, Amb. Tokunbo Odedina, “The vision of the ‘Glamour’ keeps growing and getting bigger, therefore bringing about the third edition and first in the series of “Glamour Role Model Awards 2018” which debuted 2016.”

“This year’s event promises to be entertaining, filled with sublime class, glitz, glamour, paparazzi and above all eye opening,” the ex-international model added.

“Glamour Role Model Awards 2018 is set to be a one of a kind event attracting top government officials, business leaders, and people that matters in the field of their specialty. These people are individuals and organisations that have stood out in their field by being genuine leaders and give support to the people they come in contact with. The Glamour brand started from a very humble beginning and by the Grace of God the vision is getting bigger and clearer. We hope for more coperate organisations to buy into our vision and partner with us,” Odedina said.

Amb. Odedina stated that the awards categories include: Glamour Man and Woman of the year, Man and Woman in Leadership, politician of the year, Outstanding Personality of the year, Celebrity Model of the year (Male and Female), Africa Tourist & Traditional Icon, Celebrity Role Model of the Year, Entertainment Icon of the year, Youth Role Model amongst others.

With the theme “Celebrating Royalty” this year’s event will also celebrate traditional rulers who do so much in keeping the stability, peace and order of our various communities but are so easily overlooked and unappreciated.

In attendance would be entrepreneurs, celebrity from different genres of entertainment, beauty queens and ublic office holders.

Expected dignitaries include: Royal fathers – Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunusi (Ooni of Ife), Oba Gbolahan Akanbi Timson (Jagunmolu of Bariga) and Erelu Abiola Dosunmu.
